The macadamia nut is a native tree of Australia which grows only in a subtropical climate.

Our farm is 40 Hectares and has 5500 macadamia nut trees which give us annually about 60 tons of nuts.

40% of the harvest is used for the Australian market. The largest buyers in export are Asia, Europe and USA. In the Chinese market the request is steadily increasing.

Macadamia nuts are very versatile. They can be consumed as a party snack, in breakfast cereals, chocolates or oils.

The harvest time is between March and late August and therefore in the Australian winter. The remaining months of the year the trees require lots of care; fertilizing, cutting branches and mowing between the trees so that no pests can settle and start to attack the tree.
